Cyprus Import Restrictions

In order to enter Cyprus, certain goods are subject to specific controls and, regardless of their value and quantity, they require the consent of Cyprus government, preferably, license must be obtained prior to passage through the customs, preventing the goods from being retained. On this page, you will see what kinds of items are prohibited from entering the Cyprus, and which items need special documentation before exporting to Cyprus.

Special documentation

Cyprus admits drugs and medicines only with a permit from the Health Ministry.
Cyprus admits bees only under licence from the Ministry of Agriculture.
An invoice, in an unsealed envelope firmly attached to the outside of postal items, must accompany all commercial shipments.
