Import restrictions

Senders should determine import restrictions from Tajikistan authorities before posting:

Animal products Leeches Sound recorders
Anti-parasite products Medicines Stamps

Items with specific restrictions:

Tajikistan admits the following items but senders must adhere to specific restrictions:

1 Max quantity 2 litres, sent to private individuals ONLY. If to a company, high Customs duties (up to 50% of declared value).
2 An original veterinary certificate will be required from exported country to received veterinary certificate from Tajik Ministry of Agriculture and pass import customs procedure.
3 Certificate of Ministry of Chemicals Industry required. Must undergo examination by customs Committee Central Laboratory. Additional delay 2-3 days. Non factory packed chemicals are prohibited.
4 Phyto Sanitary Certificate required.
5 Ministry of Communication approval required from cnee.
6 Permission from Committee for Radio and Television required from cnee. Invoice must state running time, subject, length, and reason for sample
7 Certificate of Quality required from Tajikgosstandart required from cnee. Must be accompanied by certificate of Manufactured.
8  Ministry of Health approval required and Certificate of Quality required from Tajikgosstandart.
9 Phytosanitary Certificate and Origin certificate to be provided by cnor and cnee
10 Proforma invoice / specification and certificate of origin is required from cnor. Cnee must provide License of TJ Ministry of Health and Permission of State Scientific Center of drug’s examination.
11 If consigned to private individuals must be accompanied by list of contents with itemized value, copy of cnee passport/visa.
12 Ministry of Communication approval required, to be provided by cnee.
13 Max quantity: 200 cigarettes/cigars, sent to private individuals only. Phytosanitary Certificate required from cnee.
14 Ministry of Culture approval required from cnee.

Special documentation

Commercial goods must include an invoice.

Inherited goods require a certificate, endorsed by a consul, which confirms the right of inheritance.

The sender and receiver details must be addressed with a valid street address in English. A Post Office Box address is not acceptable.

The sender is responsible for finding if the destination country may impose duties, taxes, brokerage fees or any other fees that may be applied on the item that is being sent.
