Serbia
Serbia is located in north-central Balkans, full name of the
Republic of Serbia. An area of 88,300 square kilometers. Population
of 9.9 million, mainly to the Serbs and ethnic Albanians. Residents
are Orthodox. The official language is Serbian. Currency dinar.
Belgrade, the capital.

 From the top down, the flag has three blue, white and red
rectangles. Blue, white and red are the favorite colors of the
Slavs.
History
Serbia was formed in the ninth century from Dukeliya and other
countries. After 15 centuries, the Turkish conquered Serbia. In
1878, Berlin recognized the independence of Serbia and Montenegro.
In 1882 and 1910, Serbia and Montenegro became kingdoms. In 1941,
during World War II, Germany invaded and occupied the Kingdom of
Yugoslavia. In 1945, the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia was
proclaimed ( in 1963 this was renamed the Socialist Federal Republic
of Yugoslavia). On April 27, 1992, the Yugoslav parliament passed a
new constitution, announcing that the Republic of Serbia and
Montenegro was jointly established as a Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia. In 2001, the country became known as Serbia and
Montenegro. On June 5, 2006, the Republic of Montenegro declared its

The Serbian economy has suffered due to war and the resulting
sanctions. In recent years, with improvements in the external
environment and various economic reforms, the Serbian economy has
restored growth.
